Encouraging Grassroots Activism in New Hampshire’s Pemi-Baker Region

Jeff McLynch NH Fiscal Policy Institute

Continuing with the mission to educate their members and to welcome all interested voters, the Plymouth Area Democrats are  pleased to announce that Jeff McLynch, Executive Director of the NH Fiscal Policy Institute (NHFPI) in Concord. Mr. McLynch will address the current budget process used in New Hampshire to determine which priorities and programs are funded while others are not. He will provide insights concerning recent trends in the state’s financial actions and a Q & A session will follows. 

Jeff  is the Executive Director of NH Fiscal Policy Institute, where he manages the organization’s daily operations and oversees its research, communications, and outreach efforts.  Prior to joining the organization, Jeff was the State Policy Director at the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, where he helped to coordinate the organization’s efforts to provide policymakers, advocates, and the public with accurate and timely information regarding tax systems across the United States.  Jeff also previously served as the Deputy Director of the Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center and as a member of the professional staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means.  He holds a Masters of Public Policy from Georgetown University.
